Chris Combshas lost so much weight since appearing in1000-lb Sistersand recently achieved another major milestone.
44-year-old Chris made his television debut in 2020, but he was a completely different person then.
At the time, the fast food manager weighed over 450 pounds.
Chris didn’t want to meet the same end.
The father of two and grandfather of three wanted to continue to be there for his family.
Inspired by his famous sisters, Amy and Tammy Slaton, Chris decided to pursue his weight-loss journey.

Not only did he succeed, but Chris surpassed his sibling’s accomplishments by qualifying for skin removal surgery.
Losing asignificant amount of weight has left several of the Slatons with loose excess skin.
He had the surgery during1000-lb Sistersseason 6, and it may have led to his recent career choices.
Aside from how the skin looks, the bigger issue is that it presents unique hygiene challenges.
In fact,Chris suffered from just such an infection at one point, which required medical treatment.
Also, the extra skin is heavy and makes it difficult to move, let alone exercise.
Reality TV is more popular than ever.
He was eager to see his doctor, hoping to be approved for the cosmetic procedure.
During an early episode of1000-lb Sistersseason 6, the entire Slaton family saw the doctor for a weigh-in.
The doctor refused Chris' skin removal surgery, wanting him to lose 60 more pounds.
The weigh-in disappointed the1000-lb Sistersseason 6 star.
