One of the few issues I’ve had with the season is related to its pacing.
Sadly, that will not happen.
Jack Dutton (Darren Mann) is dead.
Jack has shown different sides of himself throughout the Western’s two seasons.
His most admirable quality was his loyalty to his family.
However, if there was something else we learned about Jack, he was reckless.
The character has always been impatient, putting himself in harm’s way when he didn’t have to.
Last week, episode 5 of1923season 2ended with a shootout between Pete and Marshall Kent.
I feared that the former would be the one to die, which turned out to be accurate.
1923 is a series following the Dutton family during the early twentieth century. It explores the challenges they face amidst pandemics, the end of Prohibition, historic drought, and the Great Depression, as they struggle to maintain their home in the mountain west.
Thankfully, Kent did not live long after.
Due to the nature of the show, Renaud would not grow a conscience from there.
I don’t really know where she could go from here.
While Teonna might be free, her father and Pete are both dead.
When she learned about Pete’s death, Teonna no longer wanted to live.
Now that her father’s gone, I fear for the worst.
Alexandra has sadly become one of the characters to have suffered the most in season 2.
For most of the hour, Alex thrived on a fun road trip with friends.
Alex could very well die all alone in the snow.
She did not listen.
Alex could very well die all alone in the snow.
