Netflix’sOne Piecemay have come out a couple of years ago, but that isn’t stopping the show from continuing to win awards for its phenomenal performance.

This live-action adaption of one of the biggest anime in the industry struck chords with audiences everywhere for its amazing rendition of the story fans have all come to love and adore, with a stellar cast that was perfect for the roles of the original Straw Hat crew.

Thanks to the success of season 1, audiences are now waiting in anticipation for the next season, which will air at the end of the year.

Filming and production have long since wrapped up, meaning that with therecent wins at the Emmys,Netflix could be swayed to release some teaser or hints about what to expect for season 2.

The awards that One Piece’s live-action obtained were for theOutstanding Original Song for a Children’s or Young Teen Program, “My Sails Are Set” featuring Aurora, and theOutstanding Stunt Coordination for a Live Action Program.

Season 1 was also nominated for approximately ten other categories for awards, such as Outstanding Casting, Costume Design/Styling, Hairstyling and Makeup, and many more.

It’s no surprise thatOne Piecemanaged to take home a few wins given “My Sails Are Set” scores heart-warming message that echoes the same sentiments as some of therespectable scores fromMoana.

Meanwhile, the series was praised for its excellent fight coordination with the battles being half of the excitement for a shonen anime, such asOne Piece.

Between Zoro’s sword-fighting, Luffy’s Devil Fruit powers, and Nami herself even putting in the work during combat, the first few episodes managed to capture a well-coordinated fight for its adaptation.

Although it hasn’t been given an official release date,One Piece’s live-action adaptation for season 2 is said to arrive either at the end of 2025 or near the beginning of 2026.
