Simplyfollow the other NPCsthrough the city to Oda Nobunaga’s palace, where you’ll enter into a meeting.
Walk through the battle and kill enemies when prompted; these early foes shouldn’t be too difficult.
Finally,you’ll face a series of Shinobi Leaders.
Eventually, you’ll be directed to Oda’s side, at which point the quest will end.
Once you get to your destination, you’ll get a second combat tutorial.
When you see red, dodge with Circle/B.
You’ll also learn about enemy combos, which are marked with blue circles.
you might block each individual attack in these chains for an effect similar to a parry.
you might do this by sneaking, orsimply by running towards the objective.

Use scouts tofind the monks at Gansenji Temple, then help them fend off their enemies.

Two quests again here:“The Killing Field” or “Stolen Faith.
“Complete them in any order.
Use your scouts to search central Kyoto, west of Nanban Temple if you’ve already discovered it.

Return to Sadaoki in the same place, and you’ll receive your next mission.
You’ll then appear at Honno-ji Temple, where you’ll need to find your target.
Prepare to assassinate Oda, butnote that you’ll be interrupted by a cutscene.
You’ll then have to fight him one-on-one.
Dodge his attacks, attempting to parry his two-swing combo whenever possible to create an opening.
Dodge the last attack to create an opening.

Continue dodging his unstoppable attacks, and watch out for the falling chunks of ceiling.
Once you wear him down, another cutscene will ensue.
You’ll now have the choice eitherto go after Junjiro or Mitsuhide.

Over the course of the next two missions,you’ll permanently unlock Yasukeas a playable character.
“Lightning And Thunder” Walkthrough
You’ll be playing as Yasuke again.
For this mission,just walk forward and kill enemies as neededuntil it leads directly into the next one.
“Mibuno Showdown” Walkthrough
For this quest,you’ll be fighting Momochi Sandayu.
take a stab at get perfect timing so you might create openings and hit back.
With Sandayu defeated,you’ll unlock free switching between Naoe and Yasukefor the rest of the game.
The main quest also branches off here; we’ll follow each path in order of recommended level.
“Missing Missive” Walkthrough
For this mission, you’ll be tracking down a stolen letter.
He’ll point you towards the Bamboo Grove; seeour guide on dealing with Gennojofor more.
