Despite being a vampire and needing few creature comforts, Spike spent his time transforming the place.

Despite being located in a dank mausoleum, Spike’s crypt has electricity.
There’s a notable absence of a true coffin in Spike’s crypt.
Vampires don’t experience changes in temperature like humans, so the cold wouldn’t bother Spike.
Still, the stone slab can’t be comfortable.
He got a refrigerator, some more lamps for ambient lighting, and a few pieces of furniture.
One armchair he even acquired from the Summers residence to remind him of the Slayer.
As a finishing touch, Spike added Persian carpets, giving it a cultured aesthetic.
Sadly, most of the lower level was destroyed when Spike housed some demon eggs in it.
It became the place most of his romantic trysts would occur.
