Paramount has also seen huge success withYellowstoneand its spinoff series over the years.
At the same time,the past year has seen several notable cancellations by CBS.
Most notably, the connection controversially nixed the long-runningseriesBlue Bloods, upsetting many viewers.
Last month, theFBIspinoff showsFBI: Most WantedandFBI: Internationalwere also cancelled, even thoughCIAis in development.
These cancellations are said to be due to a rise in production costs and the need to rebudget.
Now, another show has become a victim of these CBS changes.
