The BAU re-assembles to take on a new case hunting down Elias Voit and his connection of serial criminals.
It may have just laid the groundwork for it, although the surrounding circumstances may not be ideal.
Not wasting any time,Criminal Minds: Evolutionrevealed what happened to Reidalready.
After a routine check-up, he found out that he may have cancer.
Reid and JJ have worked the longest with each other as BAU members.
Aside from being co-workers, they are also best friends.
That would be a good opportunity to bring Reid back to the show even just as a guest star.
Instead, however, it was divisive at best, primarily because of how it was executed.
The idea came out of nowhere which made it look like it was done purely for shock value.
In the end, the response from the reveal forcedCriminal Mindsto drop the storyline with very minimal fallout.
Given this, it would be wise ifCriminal Minds: Evolutiondoesn’t revive the narrative.
