Descendants is a Disney owned franchise that continues the stories initially told in the classic Disney animated films. The core series follows four mischevious teenagers descended from Disney villains as they try to find their place in the world now ruled by Queen Belle and King Beast, who also have a teenage son. The series currently has three films attached and one animated series, with a fourth prequel film titled The Pocketwatch arriving in the future. The franchise strongly focuses on music like its predecessors and even had a musical film spin-off and another television special centering around a big Disney wedding.
