Now, a new behind-the-scenes video from theDownton AbbeyTwitter account confirms thatDownton Abbey 3is in production.
The video begins with a shot of what seems to be a table read.
Actors name cards read Hugh Bonneville ROBERT and Michelle Dockery LADY MARY.
The scene then cuts to an image of the mainDownton Abbeycast reunited for the film.
Dockery then announces that theDownton Abbeycrew is in production on the third Downton Abbey movie.
Who Is In the Cast for the Downton Abbey Movie?
The brief video reveals some of the mainDownton Abbeycast members as they reunite.
Also returning to theDownton Abbeycrew is Simon Curtis.
Curtis will be directingDownton Abbey 3after he previously directedDownton Abbey: A New Era.
ThisAbbeyfilm received an 87% among critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an even more positive 97% audience score.
The 2019Downton Abbeyfilm is available to watch on Netflix.
As the film begins production, however, more details aboutDownton Abbey3will likely begin to be revealed.
