With hisKaio-ken technique, Goku overpowered Vegeta.
Vegeta would have ended up killing them all if his tail hadnt been severed by Yajirobe.
He finally got his chance when Babidi tried to awaken Buu.
He believing that in becoming Majin Vegeta, he could defeat Goku once and for all.
The fight would have had a different result if Goku had used his full power.
