Deadlineis now reporting thatThe Equalizer’s spinoff will not be moving forward at CBS.
This is somewhat less than the 18 episodes the action drama usually gets.
The Equalizerspinoff would have featured Welliver as Elijah Reed.
Feliz, meanwhile, would have played his daughter.
It is adding more, confirming a crime procedural led by Matthew Gray Gubler, and adding anFBIspinoff.
In the end, the cuts had to come from somewhere.
While the spinoff may not be moving forward, the fate ofThe Equalizershould be decided in the coming weeks.
