Although theHarry Pottermovies are often regarded as modern classics, there’s no denying they had their flaws.
That was inevitable given they needed to fit the story into a movie’s runtime.
It can flesh out characters and relationships with more depth and include fan-favorite storylines cut from the original adaptation.
If done right, a reboot can even improve upon the books.
This became a running joke amongHarry Potterfans, but the TV reboot should attempt to rectify this mistake.
Voldemort doesn’t need a redemption arc, buthe does need more compelling motivations for his crimes.

The time that Voldemort was in the movies was minimal.
The Max series needs to capitalize on the longer running time for the main villain.
It also might be nice to modernize the uniforms as well.
However,the older siblings Percy, Charlie, and Bill are mostly overlookedin the film adaptations.
Harry’s father and his friends certainly have enough of a backstory to fill an entire hour-long installment.
They could carry a whole season though that might detract from the main story.
There’s one actor many fans would like to see replace him, and that’s Adam Driver.
TheStar Warsactor would make a solid Snape, especially with his experience capturing a layered antagonist in theStar Warsmovies.
