The game was partially funded by a Kickstarter campaign, raising more than $57,000 for its development.
Recent games, such asAlan Wake 2, arguably suffered from not having a physical release at launch.
Hopefully, fans of both physical and digital media will be satisfied whenHollow Knight: Silksongreleases later this year.
