The movie highlighted their quiet strength in raising two children in highly unusual circumstances.

That and her strained relationship with Lee were both vital storylines in the first movie.
The horror movie series is no longer a story about a family trying to survive amongst monsters.
Instead, it’s about legacy what Regan does with it and how she makes it her own.
