That isn’t to say that I dislike remakes.
After all,Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthwas one of my favorite games from last year.
Bethesda seems to have wanted to recreate the experience of playingOblivionfor the first time with the remaster.
This is the perfect approach for someone like me who has never played the original.
The Shivering Isles is arguably Oblivions best DLC.
Heres how to start it in Oblivion Remastered, even if you didnt get the quest popup.
I considered playingOblivionafter I finishedSkyrimthe first time, but I never went through with it.
This was mainly a shallow decision.
One Oblivion Remastered player has created Sir Vancealot, a character based on current American vice president J.D.
Vance, with some meme inspiration.
Going forward, I would love to see more remasters followingOblivion Remastered’s example.
I also wouldn’t be sad to see more games giving ussurprise same-day release dates.
