Noor tricked Abbas into thinking she and Javad were conspiring against him, sealing his fate.
Someone like Javad will certainly be back in season 3, or at least he should be.
She is Peter’s new handler in the program, and also previously worked with Peter’s father.
Catherine isn’t just a good manager, she’s also a very capable agent.
This is a character that absolutely needs to return inThe Night Agentseason 3.
She has become as integral to the team as any character.
Abbas is the distinguished and stone-faced Iranian ambassador to the UN.
It turns out that Abbas is secretly working alongside Jacob, a fact which Noor discovers.
When Noor’s attempts to betray Iran are uncovered by Abbas, he declines to stop her.
Many years ago,his daughter fled Iran and is now a vocal opponent of the regime there.
Abbas ends up discovering Javan’s treachery and exiles him from the government.
At the end of the episode, he heads back to Iran.
Hopefully, he’ll be a part ofThe Night Agentseason 2 cast, returning for season 3.
His relationship with Noor and how his daughter fits into all this will certainly come up again.
