In terms of narrative, there really isn’t anything stoppingHotch from returning inCriminal Mindsseason 16.
Mr. Scratch is dead.
Gibson’s return will ultimately be decided by the production team working on theCriminal Mindsreboot.
Alternatively, Paramount could easily opt to just recast Hotch.
For now, the mainCriminal Mindsreboot cast only has five profilers.
