In the time since then, Garcia has carved out a very happy life for herself outside the FBI.
You were with the original show from the very beginning, and you were there for the entire time.

She lives inside of me; I am her guardian.
But [also], shes me, you know what I mean?
To get to do it again, Im so curious about it.
Because how could you not be curious about it?
I know stuff she doesnt and vice versa."
Dont get me wrong, I want to go back.
I want to be really clear, but I also want to be honest.
You have that minute because its the human condition to be like, Is there a problem with this?
Is this the same thing I was doing before?
And so that, as an artist, to be able to do this is just [great].
I think shes really important.
Her way of looking at people is theres no bad person, theres bad decisions.
Her way of dealing with things, its important to show that that has life-force.
I want to keep doing that, and its really pleasurable.
Garcia is an inspiring character, and the way she keeps hope alive for them is amazing.
I noticed that in the new episodes Garcia really exhibits some moments of growth and change.
She has some really great conversations with characters in particular.
Shes not coming back!
She has grown [exponentially].
She was one of those people who thrived during sheltering in place.
Im one of them.
I like my own company.

Garcia has been taking really good care of this universe inside of here.
Shes got boundaries, and shes working on them.
Theyre not perfect, but man, shes trying.
And shes trying; she fails and succeeds.
Its really awkward, but I love it.
Because if you liked Garcia, you get to see so much Garcia.
This is what that is.
Im not just talking about the first couple episodes - the whole time.
Ive been very happy with how much I get to do on this show right now.
