Kendrick will play Poppy, a Trolls princess who takes off on an adventure of some sort.
Poppy also reportedly has a knack for singing, which makes Kendrick apitchperfect fit for the voice role.
TheTrollsmovie will reportedly delve into the origins of the dolls' colorful and outlandish hairstyles.
Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) will direct.
Trollsis set to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.
