Do you feel like there’s hope for them to reconcile romantically?
Luke Mitchell: I am an eternal optimist, and I do think there is always hope.
I will say that this has been in the cards for a little while now.
I think it is exactly what needed to happen.
Ripley could also be fired from his job.
Is there anything it’s possible for you to tease about that storyline?
He’s got to win back the trust of the people he works with, namely his boss.
Goodwin’s the one that was recommending him for termination.
I don’t know that that’s something that would happen immediately.
Luke Mitchell: I was in on Mouch’s storyline with Trudy.
It was just such a pleasure to work with both of them.
What do you enjoy most about the rapport between Mouch and Ripley?

Luke Mitchell: I don’t know if I can say because it could potentially spoil what happens.
I’m just going to say that this next episode is really going to put fans through it.
I hope we do.
But it’s a fairly dramatic one that Ripley isn’t guaranteed to make it out of.
