TheSundance Film Festivalis officially leaving Park City, Utah.
The independent film festival was founded by legendary actor Robert Redford in 1978.
The festival was originally run in Salt Lake City, before expanding to Park City, Utah in 1981.
As per the Sundance Institute, it has been officially announced that Sundance will be leaving Park City.
Starting in 2027,Boulder, Colorado, will be the new home of the festival.
