However, there are still things that don’t make sense about theSupernaturalbrothers.
At first, he is someone that they need to protect, and then someone whom they mourn.
However, the brothers are inconsistent in how they treat Kevin.
Later, Dean calls Sam out on this behavior.
This inconsistency doesn’t make sense, especially for two characters who have such high morals and purpose.
Add to this, a possessed Sam (by Gadreel) kills him complicates it more.
Aside from a few serious instances, both brothers escape horrible ordeals with hardly a hair out of place.
Still, even in this current season, they aren’t injured.
They also have remorse over friends who are like family to them, such as Bobby.
However, they meet their Campbell cousins, all of whom died.
While he felt bad in the episode, there gives the impression of little to no lingering effect.
Sam is no better.
He actually kills Dean’s Amazon daughter.
A cupid specifically put Mary and John together so that Sam and Dean could exist.
This combination was to make them stronger and more capable.
However, the brothers are only mildly interested in the background.
They haven’t really explored it in depth, not even Sam who is curious and a scholar.
They have angered many monsters, which would make one think that they would be constantly dodging enemies.
In almost 15 Seasons, they haven’t been pursued that often, which doesn’t make sense.
John was pursued more, and he knew less than his sons.
Dean fought to get Sam out.
Initially, Dean was told that he could only have one brother out, and he chose Sam.
Even more confusing, Sam had powers that were almost-magical.
Supposedly, all of these powers are gone now.
However, fans have wondered if those powers are still there, but dormant.
Take Freedom-of-Choice Away from Others
The brothers speak highly of freedom-of-choice.
Yet, they have also taken that freedom away from others.
Yet, they are also selfish, not understanding others' emotions.
At first, Dean doesn’t understand Kevin’s need to see to it that his mom is fine.
Sam doesn’t understand why they need to drop everything and save Donna’s niece.
Luckily, the brothers can call out each other when needed.
Luckily, both haven’t been selfish at the same time.
If they had been, this story wouldn’t have lasted for 15 seasons.
