Supernatural
Jared Padalecki can be found as the titular protagonist in The CW’sWalkerafter 15 years onSupernatural.
But the majority of fans worldwide still see the actor as Sam Winchester.
Sam had to suffer many tragedies, like being marked as Lucifers vessel to be trapped in Hell.
While its easy to sympathize with him, there were also times when Sam could be an unlikeable person.
These range from his actions in releasing the Darkness to occasionally treating Dean unfairly.
But the devil was fully antagonistic in the Apocalypse World when he resurrected Sam.
The latter had been killed by vampires before Lucifer revived him.
Sams desperation was evident at that moment because he was in an impossible scenario.
They tortured Sam for no reason other than because they felt it was easier than asking him questions.
Sams loneliness and depression were open for viewers to see, knowing there was no escape this time.
His words became a horrifying reality when Sam commissioned Castiel and Rowena with apprehending Oskar.
He was also responsible for causing a lot of grief to Rowena and Sam across as extremely selfish.
However, its still hard not to dislike him for what he did to Roy Dobbs.
Soulless Sam used Roy as bait for an Arachne, leaving him to be devoured by the creature.
Roy ended up surviving but also turned into an Arachne himself.
He lost his wife, his reason for living, and was later killed by Sam and Dean.
Since monsters go to Purgatory, the innocent Roy was cursed for all eternity.
Sam didnt repay this kindness and plotted to have Crowley killed in a deal with Rowena.
In the fourth season finale, Sam became corrupted by demon blood and turned his back on Dean.
To his credit, Sam also hated himself for what he did after he inadvertently released Lucifer.
