The series aired its 15th and final season in 2020.
The worst episodes ofSupernaturaltend to fall into a few different categories.
Some of them focus on characters fans aren’t interested in getting to know better.
Others don’t contribute to the mythology or the main characters significantly.
The audience was looking forward to a unique spin on the story.
The episode also has Mary (Samantha Smith) losing her mind.
Felicia Day, who played Charlie in the series, quickly became a fan favorite.
She was one of the first openly gay characters introduced toSupernatural, which made her death particularly brutal.
Charlie’s final scene is easily the most shocking and memorable from “Dark Dynasty.”
Many of their episodes featuring werewolves fall flat.
“Paper Moon” is yet another example of that.
That, and Kate getting to live (again) are the only saving graces.
Unfortunately, “Bitten” fell flat partly because the characters weren’t nearly as entertaining as the Ghostfaces.
It was meant to serve as a backdoor pilot for a newSupernaturalspin-off series titledSupernatural: Bloodlines.
The series would follow a mafia-style group of supernatural beings such as werewolves and other monsters, in Chicago.
Unfortunately, the premise was too similar toThe Originalsbut not executed half as well.
The audience wanted more from it.
Unfortunately, Wendigo didnt hold the interest of a lot of people as a follow-up.
1Bugs (Season 1, Episode 8)
The worstSupernaturalepisode is “Bugs.”
Not only that but Sam and Dean don’t actually manage to “defeat” anything in this episode.
All they do is wait out the storm when the bugs come to attack.
There isn’t much closure for the storyline or for the audience, a rarity inSupernatural.
