It’s been well over a year since the couple got engaged at the end of their season.
Though they haven’t publicly announced a wedding date, they’re finally focusing on planning a wedding.
Joey dated 32 women duringThe Bachelorseason 28, and he ended up giving his final rose to Kelsey.
That was about eight months ago.
The pairhave been focused on furthering their careers, but they’ve recently finally started planning their wedding.
“We’ve met with a wedding planner,” Joey toldPeople.

“We’re excited about trying to figure out when that date is going to be.
That’s the start of the process.”
He went on to talk about how happy they were to start making decisions about their big day.

However, they seem to putting each other first and not listening to the naysayers.

Thoughthat sounds like it could be a bad thing, it’s actually healthy.
Joey and Kelsey are a perfect example of absence making the heart grow fonder.
