Another re-release is a strange choice over a simple digital bundle.
I really love the side characters in part 2.
That said, as a complete story, it feels inferior to part 1.
It’s hard not to imagine where these development resources could be going instead.
It’s hard to believe that Naughty Dog is done withTLOU.
As such, it makes for the perfect remake, and a terrific horror game to purchase for PS5.
It is an absolute must-have for any PS5 owner.

Developed by the same studio behind the acclaimedUnchartedfranchise, it turned out to be the ultimate evolution of terrific script-writing, asThe Last of Usfollowed two very fleshed-out characters that developed a complicated relationship over the course of a very long and rewarding campaign. In the case ofThe Last of Us Part Ion PS5, it includes everything contained in the campaign of the originalThe Last of Uson PS3 but enhanced from the ground up using the PS5 hardware. As such, it makes for the perfect remake, and a terrific horror game to purchase for PS5. For as great as its narrative was, being centered on a grizzled man surviving his daughter whom he was forced to kill as well as a de facto surrogate daughter who is immune to an extremely dangerous virus that has now plagued humanity, it makes for an extremely scary game. Indeed, the very backdrop of there being a deadly virus that has more or less consumed much of the world population, and therefore affecting much of its landscape, is scary enough. However, the game, which equips players with a solid amount of weapons, still provides tons of tension and holds players in suspense as incredibly dangerous enemies lurk around the corner, just waiting to completely annihilate the player.The Last of Us Part Imay not be an original, but it’s still an amazing game with impressive horror elements. It is an absolute must-have for any PS5 owner.
The Last of Us Part II is a continuation of The Last of Us universe and a direct sequel to the original title. It takes place five years after the events of The Last of Us and sees players taking control of two characters, Ellie and Abby. Players will be forced to live the lives of both characters before their stories ultimate at the end of the release.
