The restriction is applicable for videos appearing in the main feed as well as those shared in DMs.
Doing this is far from simple, and involves contacting TikTok support and providing a valid government ID.
To enable this feature, users need to go to configs and privacy > Content preferences.
This can only be done from the TikTok mobile app.
