The final duel with Sephiroth is impossible to lose.
The player gets Omnislash for free at the start, and it will KO Sephiroth in one hit.
However, even if the player didn’t use Omnislash, Sephiroth still couldn’t win.
He only has 1 HP in this fight, so any damage from Cloud at all will defeat him.
To be fair, this final battle does its job in making an incredible spectacle.

Sephiroth’s reputation is legendary, and he is still one of the most memorable villains in gaming history.
